In Ancient Greek Mythology the Naiads were the nymphs who protected fresh water. They were considered essential for ensuring survival and were also the protectors of the healing power of water. Just like the waters they were protecting the Naiads were known for their beauty and allure. These earrings have been created to send the strength and healing of the Naiad and the waters she protects and to act as a reminder that we are all connected to each other and to the natural world.
These earrings are handmade in 18ct yellow gold and rose gold with solid boulder opal drops in a silver frame with gold claws. Every piece in this collection is handmade and one of a kind. Currently available through Handmark Gallery in Hobart, Tasmania.
