The Goddess Collections are inspired by the myths of the Ancient Goddess. 

 

Goddesses, or female representations of the divine, can be found in religious traditions the world over from Hinduism, Buddhism, paganism and the ancient cultures of Greece, Egypt and more. In ancient myths these goddesses embodied a range of qualities from warrior, mother, magician and lover. Every goddess has her own unique qualities and associated totem animals, symbols, colours, gemstones and even fragrances. 

Throughout the ages people have conducted rituals to call on the support and guidance of the goddesses. In designing my Goddess Collections I am in my way calling in on the power and support of that goddess by incorporating symbols and gemstones that are unique to her. The gemstones for each collection are chosen to be in alignment with the chakra that would best represent the qualities of that particular goddess. Goddess Athena is the first in my Goddess Collections. She is the goddess of wisdom and intuition and for that reason I have chosen gemstones that are blue and violet - for the third eye and crown chakras - the energy centre for our own wisdom and intuition. Owls are also present in the Athena Collection as the owl is the totem animal of Goddess Athena.

The Goddess Collections have been designed to act as a talisman, to provide energetic support, to the wearer as they travel their own personal and unique journey back to their truth and to self.
